Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
- How Does It Work?
Once your travel trailer is delivered to your campsite, we setup the trailer for your stay. We will connect power and water systems and turn on all appliances such as the refrigerator and furnace. When you are finished with your stay, we pick up the travel trailer. Your travel trailer comes complete with a basic set of dishware and silverware, pots, pans, and other basic cookware. You will need to supply your own food and specialized cookware or appliances, such as waffle makers or espresso makers. That is why our motto is ‘You Rent, We Deliver’.

Each of our RV camping trailers are equipped with a shower & tub, propane operated refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, forced air heat/cool and 12 volt lighting. All trailers come with microwave ovens and 110v outlets, and many other features to enhance your camping experience. See your location for additional features.

- What is a Full Service Campsite vs. a Dry Campsite
Full Service campsites offered in most private campgrounds offer a septic hookup, 110V power supply, fresh water hookup, and sometimes Cable TV and WIFI service. Partial Full Service campsites may have fresh water and power but no septic hookups. State Parks campgrounds have dry campsites with no hookups. There is usually as fresh water hose hookup at the site.
- What Do We Need to Bring?
You should bring food, drinking water, bedding, towels, and any personal items you like to take with you while camping or travelling. It is important to bring drinking water and not drink water from the trailer tap.
- Where do you deliver?
We primarily deliver to public and private campgrounds on the Mendocino Coast and nearby areas. The towns we deliver to include Westport, Cleone, Fort Bragg, Caspar, Mendocino, Little River, Albion, Navarro, Philo, Elk, Manchester, Point Arena, Anchor Bay and Gualala. However, we may be able to deliver to other locations within 2 hour radius of Mendocino by special arrangement.
- Do I need a Generator?
If you are camping in a site without a power supply, you will need a generator if you want to use any electrical device or appliance that runs on 110/120v electricity. This includes the A/C unit, TV, Microwave, and anything else that plugs into a standard electrical outlet. The trailer lights, furnace, water heater, slide-out, refrigerator, oven, and awning work on battery and/or propane power and do not require a generator. The generator also recharges the batteries. A/C Unit requires 4000W generator, other appliances will work with 2000W generator.

- How long will our Water, Propane, and Power last?
Your travel trailer is supplied with 40 or 60 pounds of propane to run the refrigerator and furnace. Normal usage is about 5 pounds per day, so you should have several days of propane supply.
Your travel trailer is also supplied with a generator and/or dual 6 volt deep cycle batteries. Your batteries will last 3 to 5 days if you only use them for lights. If you have a generator, it will recharge the batteries, so your batteries should not go dead as long as the generator is used. Your generator supplies 110/120V power to run the microwave, TV, A/C and anything plugged into the power outlets. The refrigerator switches from propane to electricity when there is a 110V power supply.
If you are camping in a ‘dry’ campsite, your trailer is also supplied with 40-60 gallons of fresh water for showers and sinks. Do not drink water from the tap. Please bring your own drinking water. While the water is filtered and treated, we cannot guarantee it is fresh once it has been sitting in the trailer’s storage tank. You will need to conserve your water supply based on how many days you are staying. The showers use about 2 gallons per minute, so we recommend taking “Navy” showers, where you turn on the water for 30 seconds, then turn it off an soap up, then turn on the water again for 30 seconds to wash off. The toilets use very little water and we will explain how to use an RV toilet when you arrive.
